Backorder Allocation Report
Use the Backorder Allocation Report to determine which backorders you can fill. If a backordered item has zero quantities on hand, it does not appear on the report.
The Qty Available field shows the quantity available for allocation (in base units), which is the in-use quantity subtracted from the on-hand quantity. If the Qty Available field is zero, the amount in the Qty Allocated column for the remaining backorders for the item is zero.
The Balance Available field shows the total allocated quantity subtracted from the quantity available. The balance is zero if the quantity backordered is greater than or equal to the quantity available.
The amount in the Ext Price column is the order unit price (in base units) multiplied by the allocated quantity (also in base units). You can use this amount to forecast revenue on filled backorders. If you are using multicurrency, transactions on the report print in the functional, or base, currency.
